UPSTARTS THE FAVOURITE SERIES
This is a series of three book covers designed during the Upstarts programme. Dcoy set a restrictive brief. Photography and illustration were forbidden. Only two colours were allowed.
I decided to focus on quotes from each individual designer and architect. Based on these quotes I graphically illustrated each cover to make a connection with the featured individual. Contemporary simple bold typography dominates the covers with the illustrations bleeding to the back cover.
